Dunkeld Country Estate

If you fancy a break (not too far from home) where you can catch a few z’s as well as some magnificent trout, then you are destined for Dunkeld Country Estate. Situated in the delightfully quaint “pancakes & crafts” town of Dullstroom, the area boasts the spectacular Panorama Route offering magnificent views of remarkable landscapes featuring many breathtaking highlights, including Blyde River Canyon, Echo Caves and Pilgrims Rest.

Dunkeld Country Estate is a luxury trout and game lodge. This family orientated resort boasts many well-stocked dams filled with Brown, Rainbow and Golden Trout, offering fly-fishermen enthusiasts the enjoyment of quality angling time in pursuit of that perfect catch. The largest fish caught to date is a rainbow trout of 3.2kg. A new addition to the Estate is the completion of three “multi-use” trails, which allows guests and day visitors the opportunity to cycle, trail run or walk a chosen route.

The heritage of the estate has been preserved with the conversion of the old farmhouse into a restaurant, which was more than a hundred years old.

The Estate consists of a luxury lodge which offers spacious rooms as well as private self-contained family suites and comfortable self-contained chalets.
