Mauritius is located approximately 2000 kilometres to the south eastern coast of Africa and requires no vaccinations; however, yellow fever vaccinations are required for travellers arriving from areas where yellow fever is reported. Visas are granted for a period of two weeks upon arrival providing visitors are in possession of a return or onward ticket.
