Package Holidays to the Kruger National Park

There are a number of packages available for travel to the Kruger National Park from Self Drive packages to Family and Luxury Safari packages.
Self Drive packages include accommodation with breakfast, lunch and dinner, vehicle hire, vehicle costs and insurance. This package allows visitors to discover Kruger National Park at your own pace. Some packages will also include park entry fees and guided evening game drives.

Info about Kruger National Park

Established in 1898 to protect the wildlife of the South African Lowveld, the Kruger National Park is a wilderness paradise. The park boasts evidence of man over many centuries in bushman rock paintings and archaeological sites such as Masorini and Thulamela. These treasures represent the cultures, persons and events that played a role in the history of the Kruger National Park and are conserved along with the park’s natural assets. The park has 9 main gates that allow entrance to the different camps. The climate is subtropical and summer is humid and hot with temperatures often soaring to above 38°C. September to May is the rainy season. The dry winter season is the ideal time to visit as the days are milder, wildlife viewing is easier as the vegetation is more sparse and animals are drawn to the waterholes to drink every morning and evening. All the Big Five game animals are found at Kruger National Park, and there are webcams set up to observe the wildlife.
