Lokuthula Lodge

Lokuthula Lodge situated just 4km from the infamous Victoria Falls, and offers magnificent views of the 80 000 hectares of pristine bushveld that surrounds it, and the warthogs and other wild animals that are their neighbours.

Locuthula Lodge offers 37 luxury self catering lodges, furnished in spectacular ethnic colours and traditional thatch. Each lodge is fully equipped with everything guests could need and are serviced daily. The lodge offers three bedroom and two bedroom lodges. The 11 three bedroom lodges sleep up to 8 people which include a double room and 2 twin rooms, two bathrooms of which one is en suite and a fully equipped kitchen and lounge as well as a terrace and barbeque area. The 26 two bedroom lodges include 1 double room and one twin room with one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen and lounge. The lodges also feature a terrace and barbeque area.
All the lodges are split level and open fronted, affording magnificent views of unspoilt bushveld. and a favorite accommodation venue for Zimbabweans.

Locuthula Lodge boasts a wide range of facilities including a three tier swimming pool with childrenís pool, a childrenís playground, a volleyball court, a poolside bar and informal restaurant serving light meals and snacks throughout the day and the award-winning open air Boma Restaurant, which provides a full evening of great fun with interactive entertainment with African dancers and musicians and a traditional witch doctor, while guests enjoy traditional and African cuisine over 5 courses.

Locuthula is situated in an unfenced wildlife area and guests must be accompanied by guides when embarking on walks outside the perimeters of the resort but the nearby watering hole facilitates the free movement of game between the park and the lodges making Locuthula a unique destination to enjoy the African wilderness.

The Lodge is the ideal spot for adrenalin activities such as taking advantage of the wildest white water in the world while rafting on the Zambezi River, or a Gorge swing over the swirling Zambezi 120m below and speeding along the longest Foofie slide in the world across the Batoka Gorge. For a calmer experience of Africa, there are visits to the local craft markets, guided trips to Victoria Falls, elephant back safaris, bird watching and game viewing and lion walks.
