The Royal Livingstone Hotel
The Royal Livingstone is a luxurious 5 start hotel situated on the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls stretching along the banks of the Zambezi River and named in honour of the intrepid explorer Dr. David Livingstone.
The Royal Livingstone Hotel consists of 17 colonial-style buildings, with large verandas. The main hotel incorporates the lounge, a restaurant and a bar and offers 173 spacious en-suite rooms each with its own private verandah. There are three suites which offer a separate lounge and bedroom, and a Presidential Suite which offers an additional, optional separate bedroom as well as two rooms with disabled facilities.
All the rooms are elegantly decorated, featuring large beds wth white linen, satellite television, air-conditioning, a mini bar, a mini safe, a telephone, tea and coffee-making facilities and Victorian style bathrooms with shower and bath.
The royal Livingstone hotel offers a choice of facilities including a beauty salon, baby sitting, 24-hour room service, and a Butler service including a fully equipped conference room with a capacity for up to 12 people.
