Zambezi Sun Hotel

The Zambezi Sun Hotel is a resort style complex located on the banks of the Zambezi River on the Zambian side of the infamous Victoria Falls suitable for families, singles and couples. The African traditional inspire architecture provides a feel of an old walled city, with bright bold and spacious communal areas.

Facilities at Zambezi Sun include a large swimming pool, casino, steakhouse and activities centre as well as the Camp Kwena kids club which offers guests a chance to unwind while the children are entertained.

With the Victoria Falls just a short walk away and complimentary access to the falls, guests have the opportunity to engage in the many activities offered around the falls including bungee jumping or white water rafting for the more adventurous, or a boat cruise down the river for the more sedate.

Accommodation at the Zambezi Sun offers a choice of holiday lodgings with 212 airy guest rooms with bright mosaic details and ethnic Zambian stencils and deep colours on the rounded walls. There are four suites offering luxury and space, 39 rooms with queen size beds and sleeper couches and two rooms offering handicapped facilities. Room types include standard suites, family rooms, standard king rooms, standard twin rooms and standard paraplegic rooms.
All the rooms feature air conditioning, satellite television and separate bath and shower. Guests can enjoy the views of the central swimming pool or African bush from their private patio.

Dining at the Zambezi Sun offers a wide range of choices from the Theatre of Food restaurant which offers family friendly dining where guests can enjoy buffet breakfasts and dinners to the Poolside Grill and Pool Deck Bar which serves light lunches from the alfresco grill located alongside the entertainment area at the pool and is also a great spot for pre-dinner drinks or night-caps. The Crocodile CafÈ located near the Daily Activity Centre offers a variety of sandwiches and light meals and the Squires Grill provides a lunch time and dinner time steakhouse menu.

The Daily Activity Centre allows guests to arrange excursions from a round of golf at the historic Livingstone Royal Golf and Country Club, white water rafting, river boarding on the rapids with a boogie board, jet boating around the rapids, canoeing safaris along the upper Zambezi or Bungee jumping, abseiling, helicopter and micro-light flights over the falls, elephant back safaris through the African bush, horse trails through the farmlands in Zambia and tours to the Railway Museum, Crocodile Farm and the Livingstone Museum.
